Excuses, excuses, excuses

Our CEO & Founder, Paul Ostergaard, has seen his fair share of excuses over the  years. Excuses from companies that have refused to adopt e-commerce. In fact, Paul is the world’s foremost expert on this subject. No one knows more about maritime-ecommerce-related excuse-making than he does.

And, to be completely honest with you, he’s getting tired of excuses. Especially when in 2009 over 130 ship managers, ship owners and ship yards are realizing savings of anywhere between 5% and 20% on their operational spend by using ShipServ’s buyer solutions.

At the CMA Shipping 2009 Conference last month Paul presented his top five favourite excuses and put them to the torch once and for all.

Some of you may have used these excuses before.  If so, he apologizes for exploding them in such a public way.  But it’s for your own good.  You’ll thank him one day.
