An Interview with Norsul

We caught up with Vitor Conceicao of Companhia de Navegação Norsul (Norsul) at ShipServ’s Connect08 Conference.

Vitor discusses why Norsul chose ShipServ, and why they made the decision to implement ShipServ ahead of a PMS system.

Operating since 1963, Norsul is the leading private maritime commerce company in Brazil, having specialized in dry-bulk and neo-bulk cargoes. Presently the company operates 23 vessels (owned and chartered), comprised of 7 bulk carriers with Brazilian flag (6 owned), 11 barges, and 5 pushers. This is the largest privately owned national fleet in the world.
